MOTO GUZZI ENGINES
These photos show the standard that can be achieved by cleaning and re-building a Moto Guzzi 948cc engine.
The crankcases have been totally blast cleaned. In order to do this the whole engine was dismantled and rebuilt, carefully checking and replacing parts as required. As a matter of course, piston rings and all bearings are replaced. The clutch is replaced. This work is done entirely by Italian Moto Guzzi specialist, Motori di Marino,
The alternator cover is polished. Polished rocker covers and timing chest covers are also available.
An engine, gearbox, swing arm and rear drive unit, all re-built in this condition will cost around £3000. Big valve higher compression "Le Mans" engines are extra. The finish is not paint at this stage, this is clean blast treated aluminium.
