In due course in 2009, we shall have photos of our own new demonstration
CV3.

Here is a stack of three CV3 frames
awaiting collection by clients. We aim to hold at least one CV3 chassis
frame and kit in stock at all times.
Having purchased the CV3 business
in 2007, we have commenced production alongside our main production of
MG3 models. In order to comply with MSVA regulations, we have had to
make some changes to the CV3 body frame in order to comply with upper
seat belt anchorage points. In order to achieve this we have raised the
upper chassis rail by 50mm in the same manner as our MG3/CX3 models.
This has uncovered some other interesting points. Firstly, one sits
deeper and more comfortably in the car. Secondly, the upper aluminium
deck forward of the scuttle now projects over the top of the master
cylinder/gear linkage, and above the gearbox. This affords considerably
more luggage space, and we shall develop this with our demonstrator. We
intend having a removable stainless steel round tube "grille" over the
whole front, which will be constructed from tig welded 15mm round tube,
and this will enhance the whole front end.

Please read all details

Currently, the BRA CV3 model
is solely a barrel-back car. This has a sloping rear to which a spare
wheel is attached.
Traditionally, many Citroen
2CV based kits and some individual builds have been badly finished,
perhaps giving the type in general a bit of a bad press. Of late some
manufacturers' standards have improved. Upholstery and general interior
fitment have often let the car and the overall marque down, this can
cause a bad perception of the type in general to the potential buying
public. In an effort to stem this, and to take the image "up market", we
are offering our CV3 options with upholstery kits and complete cockpit
coaming upholstered rolls.
Please remember that a well
built and well finished car is the only standard that should be aspired
to, and everyone of our cars should inspire a prospective buyer. To this
end, we have developed our upholstery and cockpit coaming rolls, since
the interior of the car is often the first item seen, and you'll spend a
fair bit of time within it.
CV3 KIT 001 is the
most basic comprising a body frame that is bolted down to your
existing/modified or your replacement modified 2CV chassis. This kit
supplies, GRP nose cone, scuttle, rear cover, and two mudguards. We
convert all of your donor components, and these are listed below in the
Donor parts conversion list. Please read all details carefully.
CV3 KIT 002 is a more
detailed kit, which in addition to the above in CV3 KIT 001, contains
new components including 15 inch wire wheels and tyres. Please read the
detailed component list. Within the cost, we convert parts (see the
Donor parts conversion list) that you must supply us. Please read
all details carefully.
CV3 KIT 003 is a
fully comprehensive kit containing all parts, excepting those from your
donor 2CV car. Within the cost, we convert parts (see the Donor parts
conversion list) that you must supply us. Please read all details
carefully.
CV3 KIT 004 is our
most comprehensive kit. Not only does it comprise all parts from CV3 KIT
003, it includes, all "donor parts", plus new
reconditionedengine/gearbox/driveshaft/brake components. Please read
all details carefully.
CV3 KIT 005 is our
fully built up car option. This uses reconditioned donor parts, re
suspension and steering, and exchange/new
engine/gearbox/driveshafts/brakes etc.

1) Both
rear suspension trailing arms with brake drum/hub fitted (ready
cut as illustration on page 18). Do not remove hub and bearing yet.
2) Citrœn steering column inner and outer.
3) Rear axle cross tube to which we weld a small brake pipe bracket. No
need to remove bearings.
3) Two (i.e. both) rear suspension eye bolts.
4) Fan pulley with fan removed.
5) Both front hub uprights (with bearings removed) to which we weld
substantial mudguard brackets.
Please note, we buy in upper steering
columns which have to be modified. We then modify the lower steering
column from your donor 2CV to which we weld a special lower section.
The raised scuttle is an extra £45.

paint the GRP components only, leaving polished
bodywork, or paint the whole car. Allow £1200 to fully
paint a car.
A full windscreen will add approximately £495.
Remember, we supply and use new components only
(excepting your used and modified donor parts), nothing
is used.
We reserve the right to increase prices even once
quoted, should our suppliers do likewise.
UK VAT at 17.5% is added to all
prices.
