The BRA car is deeper, one sits in it more and far more
comfortably. The cockpit is wider. By reason of seat back width being wider
there is more width across "your butt!" For example, I offer sliding bucket
seats as an optional extra, these give slightly more increased leg length,
however, these will not fit in my JZR. Opinions widely held are that one tends
to sit in a BRA more than in a JZR, in fact one’s body tends to protrude more
above the JZR cockpit coaming.
You can see from the above pictures, how the seating
position differs, and how one's body presents more drag in a JZR than a BRA.
To put this in a little perspective, I am 5ft 5ins/1.65m tall and weigh 175lbs/
79kg. The stable
of the BRA Cyclecar!
